You don’t need a space designated solely for yoga. Simply find a spot, roll out your mat, and log into class (links below). No driving, no rushing—just come to Yoga. Practicing in your own “personal yoga space” may even inspire you to practice more often.
You are warmly invited to join ellen for community, study, inspiration and practice.
Students of all levels of experience are welcome. Practices are offered with options so you can participate in a way that feels supportive for your body.
Classes may support you in:
-
resetting and regulating the nervous system
-
managing stress and anxiety
-
building strength, stability, and flexibility
-
navigating life’s challenges with greater steadiness
-
deepening self-awareness, self-love, and self-mastery
-
supporting immune health and reducing inflammation
The classical teachings of Yoga offer a blueprint for balanced living. Through practices that include mindful movement, breath awareness, meditation, and self-inquiry, students learn how to quiet the mind and ride the tides of change with greater resilience and equanimity.
All classes have a therapeutic touch. Ellen listens carefully to the group and adapts the practice to meet the individuals who are present. Rather than following a fixed curriculum, each class evolves in response to the level, needs, and interests of the students attending.
Drawing on nearly three decades of teaching and study, Ellen weaves together traditional yogic wisdom with practical tools that support well-being in everyday life.
Classes are offered live on Zoom.

Props and Camera for Online Class
It is helpful to have the following props available for class: a yoga mat, 1–2 yoga blocks (or substitute a thick novel wrapped with two elastics), a dense blanket that can be easily folded, a yoga strap (or a necktie or bathrobe belt), and a bolster or two additional blankets.
It’s helpful for Ellen if your camera is on during class. If you “spotlight” Ellen’s video, her image will fill your screen.
Once class begins, Ellen will turn on Focus Mode. This allows her to see everyone, while participants are not able to see each other, creating a little more privacy for the practice.
Students who prefer working from a chair (instead of sitting or moving on the floor) are welcome to bring a chair to the Gentle Tuesday class at 9am. Instructions will be adapted to accommodate chair practitioners.
Live On-Line classes – Community Supported
Classes are offered on a sliding scale of $20 / $15 / $10 per class.
Choosing the $20 rate helps support the community and keeps the classes accessible to all.
Please contribute at the level that feels right for you. If cost is a barrier, you are welcome to pay what you can — or simply come to class. Your presence is always welcome.
